The Skoda Karoq is the replacement for the much-loved Yeti. Good stuff. Quite posh, lots of room, decent value for money given Volkswagen and BMW are currently on a design and tech self
For many, Skoda is the real hero brand within the VW Group, as it offers not just good value for money but, in some cases, cars that are on par, or even better, than their VW counterparts.
The VW Group is developing a group of MEB-based fully electric city cars with the emblems of VW, Cupra, Seat, and Skoda. For a good measure, the VW ID.2 is expected to start around €20,000 Skoda have a lot of advantages. You save a pretty penny over a VW car and you don't lose a whole lot if things like the utmost comfort aren't a huge concern. In the final moments of Chasing Cars’ first Car of the Year, in March 2022, there were some very strong competitors fighting

The dsg boxes are generally reliable but do need oil changes. Usually around 40k miles but this can vary. The box on the 1.5 (dq200) is specific to lower torque cars (1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.8 TSI's and 1.6 TDI). It has a dry clutch setup and the manufacturers say is sealed for life.

Regardless, the Skoda Enyaq still represents good value for money given how premium it feels inside and the sheer amount of space it offers. Our pick of the lineup is the mid-spec Enyaq 80 Edition with its longer range and long equipment list that includes LED headlights, a 13-inch touchscreen with sat nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus cruise control, front and rear parking sensors and
Skoda has now made the Octavia company car-friendly with the fitment of this plug-in powertrain. In doing so, however, it has turned a great car into a good one. The trouble is that this is not a

The Scala highlighted its weight advantage by returning an average of 54.7mpg, against the Golf’s 49mpg and the Ceed’s 42.9mpg. At current fuel prices, the Skoda will cost £1,273 a year to
On the technology front, standard equipment includes a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system that’s pretty much identical to the one in the old car. And that’s a good thing, because the old system is pretty good, whereas the new system found in the latest-generation Octavia (and the VW Golf, Seat Leon and Cupra Formentor) is rubbish. In May 2021, Volkswagen (4005 units) outsold Skoda (1069) on an almost 4:1 basis, while according to annual 2020 figures, Volkswagen (39,266) was almost six times as popular as Skoda (6607). Indeed, Skoda was even less popular than luxury stablemate Audi, which had annual sales totalling 15,868. History

In 2007, when Skoda launched in Australia, the local market was reportedly the Czech brand's 100th international foray. But in reality Skodas had been sold in Australia decades earlier. Worth noting also, is the Karoq Style’s torsion beam rear suspension system compared to the Sportline 4×4’s more sophisticated multilink setup.
VW Taigun is also going to launch in June probably. Both share the same MQB platform. I am in a dilemma about whether to buy a VW/Škoda car or not. There are mixed reviews about this. Ranging from “pricey spare parts”, “bad after-sales service”, “unreliable” to “beast of a engine, and build quality”, “german cars for the win
The going rate for a 1 Series is between $23,990 to $27,000. 4. Skoda Superb. This family sedan has been around since the first year of the millennium and is one of the fastest on the list, coming in at 155 mph.
